Font Smoothing in CMD.EXE (win2k)
Font Smoothing in CMD.EXE (win2k)
Is it possible to enable font smoothing in CMD.EXE on win2k?

Obsidian, my question has nothing to do with clear type as such.
Icon names can be smoothed with just a checkbox on, why cmd.exe can't!
In fact fonts in ms office can also be smoothed.

Why bother?

Why not just use Notepad, save it as a .bat, then run it (by double-clicking it)?
If it's something in the CMD that you want in True Type, you could right-click the CMD window, choose "Select All", press Ctrl+C and paste it into Notepad.

Stop teasing!
It is now apparent that this is a sort of commercial strategy by reptile ms.
Actually I wanted to use vim(not gvim) with antialiase on.
