I expected someone to say Buddy Rich right off the bat. That was gonna tell me something. Maybe I'll get some serious answers after all.

Pert is pretty damn good, Danny Carey as well.

I also like TMV's new drummer Thomas Pridgen. Don't know if he's the best but he's certainly good and has quite a rap sheet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_cnhaPgZ04

I have absolutely NO sense of humor when it comes to Chi-Mos. They should be tortured in the most extreme manner. Otherwise, yeah. I like to laugh. Too much pain and bullshit in this world.

Neil Peart is probably the greatest rock drummer/percussionist of all time. If you think otherwise it's pretty obvious you fellate donkeys.

Okay okay! It's "Peart". At least it's obvious I didn't READ about him in a fanmag. :olo:

BTW, nice edit, Mogul.

With HEAVY bias, I have to put my vote in for Shawn Pelton. He's the current drummer for the Saturday Night Live band.

It's a close call but I think more people would cite bonham for that honour.
