Animated film/video with real life actors?
Animated film/video with real life actors?
Do you know of any Animated film/video with real life actors? EG: Making a all new film/video with real actors as Marilyn Monroe.
With the technologies we have today, I am sure that we can make them using real persons.

Re: Animated film/video with real life actors?
Most of Ralph Bakshi's cartoons were a form of drawing over live action as well... ie: the orc scene's in his LOTR cartoons.

If you're looking for just Marilyn Monroe
...then click on the trailer at: http://www.misterlonely.co.uk/
Any film that has Werner Herzog as a priest is gonna be great.

Hey, i think what Pete is trying to ask is if it's possible to reanimate deceased actors with modern CGI techniques so we can make, say, the Matrix IV with Charlie Chaplin in the lead.

Heavy Metal has a good bit of what you're looking for, Pete. The original, not the horribly shitty sequel.
Re: Animated film/video with real life actors?
I'm sure that's what he meant.
The Burly Brawl scene in one of the two Matrix sequels did something simmilar; they 3D scanned the actors (with lasers) then did motion capture of stunt men to make it look like the actors were doing the stunts. They said they could do speech aswell but they didn't need to.

Not sure about what you meant about Charlie Chaplin in the lead but I think you are the closest one who understood what I was saying.
Let's take a deceased actor and animate them to make a new video/film.
Is that what you were thinking I meant Ryoki?
Sorry about my bad English, I hope you understand what I mean.

Awesome thread. Would print out and hang on wall.
Thick, solid and tight in all the right places.

You thought this was an original idea that was gonna coin it for you didn't you? -No, I’m sure there already is a video or at least some attempt in the making somewhere.Memphis wrote:You thought this was an original idea that was gonna coin it for you didn't you? Maybe i'm wrong Petey, it's just that everything about you screams that you live very alone in a very, very small town, maybe in a boat, in a pond somewhere and don't go out unless the local hooker's phone's off and you're out of tissues. If you actually spoke to other people i'm confident you wouldn't have to keep asking us all such stupid boring shit and claiming it's for 'research purposes'.Pete wrote:Do you know of any Animated film/video with real life actors? That’s fairly right.

and don't go out unless the local hooker's phone's off and you're out of tissues. - N-A.
If you actually spoke to other people – No, just chatting with one of my colleague inventor.
i'm confident you wouldn't have to keep asking us all such stupid boring shit – If that’s the way you see it, sorry but they are important to me.
and claiming it's for 'research purposes'.[/quote] -Yes it is, even though, it is a relatively very small scale LMR, I appreciate all the feed I get.
See You!
