Drawing tablet software
Drawing tablet software
I just got myself a Wacom Bamboo tablet, and now I need some good drawing software recommendations. Anyone here use a tablet that would know of anything good for drawing and other artwork, and then something more for technical drawings?
Re: Drawing tablet software
Most commercial drawing software supports drawing tablets, like Photoshop, Illustrator, Paint Shop Pro, Corel Painter, etc. You'll have to find what you like and fits your price range. I think even The GIMP supports tablets with full pressure sensitivity and angle dynamics and you can download that for free.
Personally, I have an Intuos 9x12" tablet that I bought directly from Wacom though my work which offered me a pretty good discount. I use it with Photoshop, Illustrator and 3ds Max for graphic work and game design. I've also played around with a trial version of Painter, and it does some pretty amazing things if you're into something that feels more like traditional painting/drawing.
Enjoy the tablet. If you're drawing, there's really no comparison with something like a mouse.
