Isn't it lovely when you discover a band you never knew exis

Post by phantasmagoria »

Suddenly you realise there was a big hole in your musical tastes that you never knew was there, and it's instantly been filled and you feel whole.

I just discovered an austrian avant-garde circus band. http://www.last.fm/music/Angizia

last.fm ftw \o/

Having not clicked on that link, I'm going to guess Mr. Bungle falls into that category...

I'm not a fan of them myself; not my thing -- though there are a few songs I don't mind too much. But if I had to pick a genre to describe them, I'd definitely have to say "avant-garde circus music" fits quite nicely. :)

Um, that avant garde sounds enough "generic gothic-ish" to me to definitely be sure I wouldn't need this to fill up any holes in my musical tastes. Not saying it's bad at all, but it just doesn't sound very different from all the other muck out there.

Nightwish anyone?

these dudes dwarfed all other bans at van's warped tour, and (though you can't tell by the google link) put on an amazing show.

it sure is neat but it's also a bit frustrating...

the site design and navigation could use work and for the love of me i can't figure out how to get the website to stream multiple tracks in a row. the stupid thing will play one song and then stop; gay.

You have to play a playlist from someones page or find a "radio station" from somebodys page. If you pay, you get premium stuff, like the ability to play anyones radio station. I just matched up with a bunch of people who have simular tastes and I play their PLs all the time.
