Quake 3 Fortress?

Hi everybody, just out of interest but does anyone know about a [mod] for quake 3 called quake 3 fortress. I don't know if its a mod, because its not on the q3 mods list, you have to put its pak files into baseq3, and it changes q3 into q3f. q3 F is made by valve, and the name and classes suggest it was before team fortress. Those who have played TF or TF2 on The Orange Box, will realize that it is very like TF, except it has Q3 logos everywhere in it. Some maps have resemblance to TF2. Forts, is the same layout as 2Fort on TF2, two bases separated by a canal with a bridge over it. It has more maps than TF though. I don't know if im doing it right, but when it comes to playing, its not playable. The reason: since its part of q3, it can't find any Q3F servers. My server browser, Xfire detects it as Q3 as well. played it back then for a bit. its aight, it was a bit too beta tho so it wasnt the prettiest to look at, model&mapwise
