Help a complete noob out with this -
Some of your screenshots shot that you've got some other windows interface that looks completely different (and much better) than the native XP interface - menus, windows, etc.
What software allows you to do this? Can you point me in the direction of some good programs for this?
I stuck with XP, but I want a different look.

Google for "windowblinds", some other products should show up in the results as well.
I have never used anything other than blackbox for windows, and that was long long ago, and if it's even still available it probably requires a lot more config than you're willing to do, with less eyecandy in the end.
No reason to be stuck with XP... go ubuntu and get fancy UI stuff built in =)

I use WindowBlinds. I have a bunch of other thingys that help as well. I tend to make my windows machine look like a Mac.
