no lightning shaft

here is a pic of my problem... i tried deleting the q3config but still nothing... help

never seen this before
check out this quote for a possible fix
cg_truelightning changes the way the lightning gun effect is displayed on the client end. it has 3 options: 0-display the lightning gun effect how the server sees it (usually a little bit lagged depending on your ping) 1-display the lightning gun effect how your client sees it (will never leave the crosshair) .5-display an average between how the client sees the effect and how the server sees the effect note-using cg_truelightning 1 and .5 does not change where the lg actually does damage because the server still sees the effect as if the client were using cg_truelightning 0. hope this clears up what cg_truelightning does -Habib

VQ3? Remove all the *.pk3 files from your baseq3 folder except pak[0-7].pk3

'Why?' you might wonder. It's possible that a pk3 with a bad shader, texture, etc. messes things up.

it was a map i got from lvl... wierd
