I love Louis CK.

I was pissed when HBO canceled Lucky Louie.

I had tickets to that show you linked to (Boston) but didn't end up going. Was really looking forward to it too.
They were an anniversary present from my wife (now separated). We lost track of the date because of my mothers death.
We had to leave the country for the burial. We were back in time but just forgot about it.

What's really funny/sad is that I kinda think that if we went to that show there would have been a better possibility of us working things out.
Just because of the timing and the need for us to spend quality one on one time together. That never happened.
TBH, I'm more pissed about missing the show. :smirk:

how is it one on one time with your wife when you go to stare at and only listen to a man on stage?

A night out would have been a lot more than that. Dinner first drinks after then whatever. Quality time we never made for ourselves. Missed opportunities. Things happen, or don't, for a reason or so they say.

Holy crap that is one of the most depressing posts I've read in a while. It's even more depressing because I'm currently dealing with a somewhat similar scenario.

Yeah it is kind of rough but it's pretty much mutual and it looks like we will still be friends when the dust settles.
My mom left me a good chunk of land in Costa Rica. I'll be moving there in 8 weeks or so to go lick my wounds or have some "Tica" (local girl) lick them for me.

Hope you have better luck than I did working things out.
