G'day :)
My names josh. Just wanted too introduce myself a little, since I am new here. I will be contributing too the community as much as I can :)

I absolutely love FPS games somthing that takes alot of skill imho. Over these past few days i've been playing Quake 3 Arena demo and have loved every moment of it. I have finally decided to buy the actual game, but was just curious but is there anyway i can improve my in game performance, so i can get a reasonable ping?

1. max bytes per second sent
2. max client updates per second sent (an update is usually between 40 and 60 bytes)
3. max server updates sent to you; default is once per 50 ms, /snaps 40 means 1000/40 = 25 or once per 25 ms (however, snaps is capped to sv_fps so if the server is running at 20 fps, you'll only receive an update every 50 ms)
