I can't seem to find/connect to human servers.

So, before writing this, I assure you that I have read the FAQs and a good deal of previously posted topics. I have solved a good deal of problems on my newly set up Quake 3.

I have v.1.32
I have OSP Mod
I have CPMA Mod
I have the first pack of Threewave maps installed
I have Qtracker.

So i tried playing the game online straight through the ingame browser. i found a lot of servers. I played a few games, only to discover that EVERY game I played was against bots. Now, I hooked myself up to the net so I could play versus humans. I tried then to connect from Qtracker. I would be booted off the server for either invalid passwords or other errors. I'll try again, and post whatever errors come up in my terminal. But are there any set servers with no bots or anything? Where do most of you guys tend to play?

the common error i get is

"ERROR: Client/Server game mismatch: baseq3 - 1/threewave 1.7

Did you install version 1.7 of the Threewave CTF mod and if so, where (the on-disk location) did you install it to?

Threewave isn't that popular a mod anymore. It might be difficult finding a server with any humans on it. OSP and CPMA OTOH are still well-played, so you should have better luck there (though maybe not for a game of CTF, that's mostly a pickup thing on IRC).

Guessing the server you connected to is out of date. might not be the case though.

i would google threewave 1.7 server 1.32 maybe you might find some IP's, but yeah, i don't think 3wave is much populated anymore..
