RTCW CD Key
Well for those that read the UT2k4 General Protection Fault thread of mine you know I was having some serious issues. I think I have solved my gaming issues, I uped the VCore to 1.71 and the DDR voltage to 2.73 and it seems to make all my games run more stable. Now stable means they run, but RTCW 1.41 is being a lil bitch and will not work. Every time I try to connect to a server I get "Invalid CDkey" everytime, I've tried reentering, deleting the rtcwkey file, taking shift on and off, taking F-Lock on and off and nothing works. I also manually updated PB. Now this copy of RTCW is installed on my other computer, but I see no legal issues as it is only run at one machine at a time. RTCW is my most played online game and also caused the most issues, I ran a private server for a while and didn't crash. Does anyone know how to make the CD Key "stick"?

manually open that file, retype the cdkey in lowercase, close, set to read only.. worked for me when it was being a little bitchKills On Site wrote:Well for those that read the UT2k4 General Protection Fault thread of mine you know I was having some serious issues. [size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.
It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.
I am now sick.

Well it is an overclocked Athlon XP, my temps are 41C-45C, so I am not worriedDiscoDave wrote:I'm not sure what CPU you have but for me, 1.71v Vcore is overkill.... Keep a good eye on your temps
Soap, I will try that later, but I got to get to school right now
