MS Office Word 2007 problem

Hello, for some reason Word doesn't display e-mails, formulas, etc. Instead it just displays the code.

i.e

{HYPERLINK "mailto:blah@blah.com"}

I've tried repairing and reinstalling it, still no good.

found it, it was in Options/Advanced "show field codes instead of their values"
