I have been taking epic dumps lately

Unless I consume massive amounts of alcohol, then they vary by size and consistency. Sometimes able to penetrate a screen door without leaving a trace.

I've been clogging toilets again, without any TP.

And I had one that came up out of the water and then curled around like the top of a cane. I didn't know if I should puke from the smell, take a picture for posterity, or get out a knife and cut it in half to make sure it didn't wreck the plumbing. I took the top off the back of the toilet before flushing just in case I had to stop the water from overflowing. After a few seconds of tense give and take, this thing made its exit.

The curve in the turd is to help it go around corners in the plumbing

i forgot to ask: why "recent times"? are you hypothesising some sort of global outbreak of monster cable-laying, possibly due to dark, hidden forces?

Probably because he doesn't want to know about that one time way back when toilets were made out of hollowed out logs and instead of toilet paper, they used sand paper and there was this one massive dump which started in one state and ended in another, and wants a more recent account?
