DVD Choping Issues

Post by Kills On Site »

First and formost I would like to say that everything I am using is bought and paid for.

Since I got my PSP I have been working towards getting a big memory stick and playing epiodes of shows on it. I own Stargate SG-1 season 7, MacGyver season 1 and Invader Zim episodes 1-9: Doom Doom Doom. Now I am trying to use MacGyver to get onto my PSP.

First thing I do is open up DVD Shrink and re-author the DVD to copy one "title," aka one episode, at a time. It does this and makes the DVD stuff. I then rename the VTS_01_1.VOB to VTS_01_1.MPG and open TMPGEnc 3.0 Express.

I start a new project in TMPGEnc and add the VTS_01_1.MPG file to it. It says there is no audio data. When I encode it to MPEG Output it again says no audio data and when I play the file it creates there is definatly no audio.

I tried setting DVD Shirt to force the audio selection and get no different results.

Now I did just try and convert the VTS_01_1.MPG into mp4 with PSP Video 9 and it is converting, but I would still like to know how to get the audio to work in TMGGEnc.
