Ok, I'm now running my 2000+ palomino core on an Asus A7V8X, moved from a Gigabyte GA-7VAXP with leaking capacitors. My CPU temp is 37C, down from 74C on the old board. This is awesome
Btw, this is the first time I fitted a heatsink on a CPU

Yea, I guess getting the Vulcano 9 is paying off
Running at only 2.8k rpm btw, closed case.
