UFC President Dana White apparently thinks the guy who got his face rearranged by MMA fighter Roger Huerta in a bloody street brawl deserved "to be knocked the **** out" -- because it ain't right to hit a lady.

A lot of the fans are tap-out wearing white trash there's no denying that. There are many that appreciate the science of the sport though.

Also, Roger Huerta is a stud (no homo).

Care to elaborate on that? I mean, I don't see where the science is in beating the crap out of each other.

I can tell by your question that you have zero understanding of any form of boxing or martial art, and the truth is that I really couldn’t be fucked putting in the effort to make a post explaining the science behind the sport.

I don’t mean that like a cunt, I just couldn’t be bothered.

But put it this way, your question is akin to someone saying to a golfer: “I don't see where the science is in hitting a ball with a stick.”

Strategy sure, but science? C'mon, that makes it sound like it's shit on a higher level. I don't think "science" is a term that is aptly used when combined with golf or football for that matter either.

it might be getting lost in the translation to dutch. 'science' is an appropriate general english term for the study of anything where the scientific method can be applied, including sports. it'd never be used without a qualifying prefix/suffix/clause/context - unless you were talking about the traditional sciences (physics, chemistry, biology etc), and then you'd probably use the specific name for the discipline.

if you're looking for something to wind lawl up with until he offers to travel around the world and somehow beat you up by repeatedly sitting on your cock, this isn't it.

Well I still don't get it. In what way is a scientific method applied to any sport? Maybe I'm taking it too literally as I'm not familiar with the term in this context.

Wind LawL up? lol no. If I wanted to do that I'd just post a picture of Doombrain in a dress. That winds him up instantly. Most likely in a sexual way as well.

essentially, if we didn't use 'science' as a general term then we'd need to think of a name for every discipline (e.g. putting 'ology' on the end of random words) or specify each of the sciences within a subject (e.g. physiology, psychology and biomechanics for the study of martial arts).

Think of things like giving footballers icebaths after they've played a match. Or analyizng the formation and making stats on ballposession. A really dutch example would be the klapschaats :smirk:

All stuff made up with the help of sciency stuff.

This isn't as complicated as you guys are making it. It's not like this subject is like football science or anything.
