Kind Attention plz map experts ( Read )

Greetings , i would like some help from amap expert , i would be greatfull for hes work through ppal, i assure you , i have a map which is called endifacid , the problem is that it isnt like reqbouncerl where u spawn with rockets and 25 ammo of that rocket , in quakelive endifacid spawns with machinegun only , no ammo no rockets ,i used luigi aura decrypter to decrypt the quake3.pk3 maps to quakelive and the problem is that quakelive detects reqbouncerl map properly and i spawn with rockets however with endifacid i dont spawn with rockets

i went through the .bsp to see , i found out that it has give_target commands and spawn target and other commmands in the source file of .bsp , i tried copying and pasting on the right terms of origin from reqbouncerl and nmx2 and all other maps that worked properly and spawns with rockets only in quakelive and it gives me this error said CMod shader : funny loop size ...

now i think because when i finished with editing i saved it and it saved through the windows rtf file and not compiled and saved to its originality form ,im sure its the saveing technique problem , please , if u can make endifacid.pk3 , just spawn with rocketlauncher , similar how quakelive detects and works properly in reqbouncerl.pk3 map and other midair polish maps , so i can play it in quakelive for training purposes would be helpfull , i'd contribute a great deal of grattitude im from UAE ABu Dhabi you have my word on it. i promise u but if u do this to me i have only 4 other maps aswell with the same exact problem , and im sure if u deal with endifacid the rest will be simple and quick , , 3waveCTF maps works great after decryption such as q3wxs1 works fine and spawns with railgun , nmx2 from polishmidair spawns with rocket and works fine :) , so it would be really helpfull i promise il give a gift of hes help , Thank you Quake3world and Thanks alot to my brother map expert

I'm not 100% sure if this is what you want but if you want someone to add target_give entities to all spawn points of the map, you gotta post the endifacid.map file here.

(If you don't know how to compile the map into a bsp and want somebody to do that it would be cool to know the original compile settings that were used to get the lighting the same - but if you just wanna practice on the map this may not be that important.)

In case you only have the bsp I don't know...

Has anyone ever tried to decompile a QL-map (in case there's only the bsp)? Can't think of doing that properly without the original editor used to create these maps. :question:

i used Luigi Aurie decoder to decode the maps from quake3 ( .pk3 ) to quakelive ( .pk3 )

sorry i had to say something
not only in Quakelive , but also in normal Quake3 without any modifications with game engine settings forexample theyr are mods which u can type /callvote mode midair to enforce players with rockets in any map u play from
in normal Quake3 when u type map endifacid u dont spawn with rockets in normal quake3 only machine gun similar cause in quakelive

but in reqbouncerl in quake3 u spawn with rockets and in quakelive the same way :)

hey dichtfux , i just want to spawn with rockets on that map , in reqbouncerl it forces all players in FFA or 1v1 or TDM game to spawn with rockets and 15 ammo
would be cool if endifacid is the same , this issue is also in normal quake3 game pointrelease 1.32 not only quakelive , well they both seem to have this problem now .
i tried going in reqbouncerl file inside bsp to get the similar codes and connect them with endifacid but i cant if u can do this for me u will be tons of help :) i just have 4 other maps in similar task , quake is becoming a business because its dieing so im trying to live it up by using its boundaries of fun , and trust me endifacid is fun if u want to know how its played heres a video from youtube of the real endifacid on quakeworld : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5FF1Jk60sE

Okay, if I understand you correctly, you just want players to spawn with rocket launcher and rocket ammo in a map called Endifacid?

If you have the .map file (source file) you can add that feature and then you need to compile the .map file to produce a .bsp file which you put in a .pk3.

[I think you need a .pk3 file for playing quake 3 maps in quake live. Might be mistaken tho.]

I guess you could do this by hex editing the bsp, would certainly be beyond me. I would ask the author for the map file, edit that, recompile, package up the pk3 and run the QL encoder.
The other solution might be a QL mod or gametype, don't know if such things exiat.
