I`m wanting to start a test server in Team Arena for my currently-in-beta map, Training Day (pasduel1). I looked in several places on how to start a server but none of them helped me much.
I only plan to use this server on occassion to test any maps I`m coming out with. What kind of config should I use, and how can I refer someone else to the server? Here is what I might use, not sure if it`s appropriate or not:
set fs_game missionpack
set sv_hostname "EmeraldTiger`s Test Server"
set g_motd "For testing purposes only!"
set sv_maxrate 25000
set sv_pure 1
set sv_allowdownload 1
set bot_enable 0
set g_allowvote 0
set timelimit 10
set fraglimit 0
set g_dowarmup 1
set g_warmup 10
set dedicated 0

Re: Starting an online server for Q3TA
you think wrong.
all dedicated does is not load the client assets freeing up resources and ram.

Both wrong! dedicated 1 is for a LAN server, dedicated 2 is for internet play (makes the server announce itself to the master servers).
Re: Starting an online server for Q3TA
but the master servers are long gone
