... only if you download the full installer (which includes updates for both x86 and x64). If your computer is up to date with regular service packs, it's about 70MB.

the 2GB is if you wanna make a bootable win7 DVD amirite ?

just did an update and my sp1 is 73.6MB which i did not install.

yeah same here. tried installing it, but it failed, dont remember the exact the error.

i chose NOT to install it

I've been hearing some people have had problems with it rebooting their systems and not installing, etc.
