Just wondering what the benefits are of having a stupidly high FOV? I've upped it from 110ish to 130 and whilst it looks disgusting is it actually better? Or is it down to personal preference?

You can see more but your central vision is actually less. Generally, better for close-range work (rocket fights) and worse for mid to longrange (Rail and LG).

I do up my fov from the default 90 to 105 or 110 or so. I like the slightly wider vision it gives me and the added sense of speed. Switching back to 90 makes me feel like you walk as fast as a snail*.


*) I am aware that snails don't actually walk

mines 125, then i change the rail FOV to be a lil closer on the zoom
