Dear Guys,

I have installed Quake III on Win XP. Now I am looking to download some further arenas (environment) to download and integrate with Quake III. Can anybody help me with that?

Take a look here: http://www.lvlworld.com/
Arenas are usually referred to as "maps" (or less commonly "levels"). When you download a map, it usually comes packaged in a zip file. If you look at the contents of the zip file, you'll find a file in there with a .pk3 filename extension. You need to place this .pk3 file in the "baseq3" folder that you'll find inside your Quake 3 Arena installation folder.

Hi,

You might try this link:

http://q3min.org/dm_maps.html

This site contains high quality levels we have collected for use with Q3MIN (a free version of Q3A). They have been slightly modified to use the bot types installed in Q3MIN, but except for this they should work fine in Q3A as well. If this modification causes problems for you, then you can download the same levels in original form from the following link:

http://lvlworld.com/

This is a great site if you look for custom levels (has over 2000 of them)

Hope this helps.

Dear speaker,

I downloaded some zip files from above website but I don't find baseq3 folder where I should place .pk3 files. I only see 'demoq3' and 'Extras' folder. Can you please assist me?

Oh boy... *sigh*

Listen zaeem, you're straight out of luck. You cannot play custom maps with the demo version of Quake III Arena.
