i heard that the opera browser, does the work on their end and send you the pages in a compressed format, that supposed to be good for peeps on slow networks. never used it but I figured you should know about this option.

Re: Best browser for mobile(android)?
Dolphin has been, satisfactory, for me.
Re: Best browser for mobile(android)?
bump.
i've been using Firefox and it's only so-so. the interface is really good, but it takes forever for it to load the browser itself. considering giving opera and/or miren a try.

Using the browser that comes with Android is fine. It's a Webkit browser that supports most of the stuff you'll find in modern desktop browsers as well.

Stock Browser for most tasks, but when I need to fake the user agent for those sites that force mobile view I use Dolphin.
Re: Best browser for mobile(android)?
Yeah I've been mostly using the stock browser after trying a few others. The stock browser seems to be the best all around.
I have installed and used the FF beta. Mostly because I have it synced to my desktop browser. So it's nice to have access to all my desktop passwords, bookmarks, and browser history. No flash support sucks though and have had some issues with it sucking shitloads of memory.
Opera seems decent enough. It's the one I use to bypass user agents when needed. I like how it makes you tap a link for just a tad longer, minimizing the wrong clicking of links.
