I used to be all about the resurrection of childhood cartoons I enjoyed as a child but after seeing Transformers completely ruined time and time again I can't say I want Hollywood to do anything with Voltron. This wasn't bad I guess.

just check out the intro

basically a robot composed of 5 smaller robots each with their own human pilot inside.

the short film I posted was basically the after math of a lost fight, where there was only one of the robots left floating in space

Jesus Robotic Christ. :dork:
I don't remember Voltron being so agonizingly terrible. I'll never make fun of Pokemon fans again.

heh... Thundercats. Weird story...
Strangely, I never watched it as a kid, but I knew about it. A few months ago, I was quite surprised to see an episode playing on a TV in the background at a party I was at. Having never actually seen it, I watched a few minutes, then turned to some dude next to me and said, "I never realized how fucked up this show was."
He laughed and said, "You've never seen it? This shit is awesome!"

It turned out he was the chairman of the Democratic party of South Dakota. :olo:

Thundercats was remade recently. Was it the remake you saw? A lot was changed in the remake so I read. They said it was worse.

the computer voice in that short made me wonder if he had a companion cube with him in the cockpit.

The new Thundercats is on Friday nights on the Cartoon Network.

The rebooted the storyline a bit, along with the characters.

More cleavage on Cheetara too.

Voltron was more of a US thing I think?
The Thundercats remake is pretty good tbh. They've kept the character's unique traits from the original series intact, but developed a better storyline that actually seems to have a direction. Not bad all in all.
