Again Firefox didn't automatically update for me. After reading this topic, I went to Help/About Firefox and it said it was version 14.0.1, downloaded the update which I could then install by clicking a button for it :offended: I've since looked through the menus for some "Automatic Updates" setting but found nothing.

A more accurate response would've been that the Earth, which turns around it's own axis (in appprox. 24 hrs), and at a different pace around the sun (365 days and 6 hrs approx.), made the none lit areas where there was only shadow from the sun shining on the Earth, onto a timezone, where at a given time we had the impression that the sun rose at that particular point in time.

What a piece of garbage. I just upgraded on my work machine this morning and there is a massive performance hit when saving images, closing tabs or when you actually try to close the browser: there is at least one full second between your click and the action. Absolutely none of that was happening before I upgraded.

Fuckin useless nerds.

[edit] Wow...just pressing the "Submit" button hung my entire browser for 2 seconds. It wouldn't even let me change tabs.

Good thing I never upgraded my home system's browser to this shit.

Same here.
Nice "upgrade", where I have to wait 20 seconds for my browsing actions to be implemented :tard:

I always loved Firefox and was happy with it until now.
Think I'm going to switch to Chrome. See how that works.

I just rolled back to the previous version after spending the last 2 work days collecting reference photos at 1/10th the speed I normally do. Several co-workers have also complained about it.

FF 15 is a fucking joke. Do not update to it unless you need to or don't know any better.

Seriously...their quick release program has been an utter failure quality-wise since the day they implemented it.

This fag and several other nerds agree with me

FF 15 works fine on everything for me except for the fact that completely f*cked up my Quake Live experience, now I barely get 3-4 fps while vq3 and even ioq3 work fine so I guess it's not a graphics-driver related issue. QL is reported to work well on IE but I am not on Windoze.

I doubt your browser has influence on how well QL runs, as it is a separate process not directly related to the browser.

lol I was just helping a co-worker search and sort out a bunch of reference images and he had upgraded to the latest POS FireFox offering without knowing the problems.

Of course FF hung like crazy when we tried to save images to disk. But...we both noticed that after the long hang that occurs after saving, ON THE NEXT IMAGE SAVE THE FUCKING BROWSER FORGOT WHERE HE SAVED HIS IMAGES AND BEFORE OUR EYES THROUGH THREE SEPARATE IMAGE SAVES THE BROWSER SAVED THEM IN DIFFERENT FOLDERS WITH NO INPUT FROM THE USER.

Simply amazing that a broken "update" could become a release candidate.

My co-worker has now rolled back to an older version of FF.

No problems here (15.0.1 on PC, Mac and Linux). Seems like a few of you are doing things wrong. :dork:
