Won't do this one myself...I COULD...but I think I'll get the pros on it this time...

Finally getting around to the pool....already got a quote and design(before gettin side tracked)a while back from the company we are prolly going with. I'll call tomorrow and get 3-4 more contractors out here and maye get some fresh ideas on design and take it back to our guys...

Maybe u got a design for us?...

Anyways dumbodians...I'll keep ya updated with specs and pics and all...

Pools are never a good investment and usually end up being unused eye candy. In the end you spend way more buying/maintaining the pool than it'll ever return. But if cost is no concern and you plan on paying someone to maintain it, I say spend away.

If the pool is your wife's idea, don't fall for that trick! She just wants a pool boy to replace you.

Make it in the shape of a Les Paul or a Flying V body. V would be neat... shallow areas where the wings are, then it gets deep where they meet. Or you could just hang yourself in a closet, that would be acceptable as well.

Consider the soothing effect of an elipse shaped pool with an island centre, you could install a bbq or a waterslide for your kids or whatever the island. Alternatively you could just throw yourself in front of a large truck, that's cool too.
