Also, if I were to buy stocks, I'd target stocks that do two things. Have derivatives and stocks that allow you to purchase a fraction of a full stock.

Use the derivatives + what you want to invest and use it to purchase more of those stocks. Over time, the derivatives will grow your portfolio much faster.

Also ensure you own the stock instead of owning it's streetname.
