Did you see the red box on the right side of toolbar? Click it and make sure you have seleted "Skinned" or "Skinned and boxed". If that's true, and you have ATI video card, you could try ATI workaround bug fix found in Misc preferences. If you have another video card, try the workaround anyway. Then give feedback

It's skinned and boxed but still get the same problem. My graphics card is an intel HD graphics, How can I do the workaround? I dont know what it is. But I dont think this is the problem because with the gtkradiant vers 1.5 I can map and spawn textures, even if not all of them... Is there a detailed guide? Maybe I did wrong the configuration or the path stuff... I dont know....
If you did wrong path config, it won't work you at all. GtkRadiant 1.5 has different render system, tough it is on OpenGL. ATI workaround bug fix can be found in Preferences window, in Misc section. It's a checkbox, which checked will enable a render workaround.

If you did your path incorretly, it won't work you at all. That means GtkRadiant will display an error message window and close itself. Thus thid didn't happen, so there must be something wrong with your drivers, not paths. GtkRadiant 1.5 is outdated version and since Windows 8 is built on different core, it won't work you well (in this case it causes bugs with texture loading in the texture window). As a Windows 8 user you should give a try to Radiant 1.6.4, build date 13th December 2013. Write here your video card, CPU and Windows 8 version (32bit / 64bit; include service pack if you have installed).

GtkRadiant 1.5 is no longer supported, so you'll likely only get very limited support on it from people in the community. It will not see any further development. GtkRadiant 1.6.4 is the currently supported version.
You most likely can fix your issue by doing the following....
"Edit" menu > "Display" group > "2D Display/Rendering" > enable the "ATI and Intel cards w/ buggy drivers (disappearing polygons)" option.
