I have to say, it's SUPER cheesy at points but overall it's a damn good show that I think does a good job of portraying both sides of the events during and after The Karate Kid.

Surprisingly decent series. I was expecting it to be complete train wreck like The Next Karate Kid or the Jackie Chan remake, but excellent move pulling back the original cast and providing an interesting take on the old rivalry.

Oh no Daniel-san, Mr. Miyagi picked the wrong disciple.
