Yeah using software that stitches together photographs into 3D objects. This was from about 180 photos that I took hurriedly in about 15 minutes (girlfriend was already bored of being in a museum of tanks and aircraft so I didn't want to take too long). It's total black magic. I've got a full frame dslr and a prime lens but honestly you can get decent results with a phone camera as long as it saves the exif data so the software can process the lens distortion.
