choosing a laptop..

Post by zeeko »

ok well i need to get a laptop by the end of summer for school next year. i am a mac user, but i'm sorta dissappointed with the new news as i would like to get my computer THIS SUMMER, but i would also like an intel mac. i'm not quite sure what i should do. i would like to keep the price under 1500. do i get a pretty nice ibook, a crappy powerbook, or a dell inspirion (with a 750$ coupon) which would have much higher hardware specs and will probably be cheaper than ibook or powerbook with longer warantee or some other pc laptop? unfortunately i just use windows a bit at school and i really don't know that much about it. is linux at all practical for the needs of the average computer user? what would you guys do with 1500$ for a laptop?

reserch like crazy and get something that makes you happy today.

not the "will make appy tomorrow thing"

get one that does something speacialized to your interests and it will always do that for you for years.

just a thought and only imo
