video-sound out of sync on movie

i know there is a program that can fix this, and my problem is that i have a couple of movie files but the sound is lagging behind a couple of seconds through it.

any help would be appreciated, thanks

Try using virtual dub

I use Crystal Player, where you can set the timing yourself if you have to.
