Creative Zen Touch anyone?

Post by DiscoDave »

I've just ordered one of these, decided to save myself about £50 instead of getting an iPod.

I read a few reviews before hand which said it was quite good. But now i've read more, it seems some people are having problems with theirs, and the scroll button thing isn't that good.

I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience with these and could share comments about it.

Thanks

David

I cannot proof a thing but something tells me you should have spent that extra money and got yourself an iPod.

Haven't used one, but tell us what you think of it when you get it. I'm planning on buying one myself and I'd like to hear your opinion.

My friend has one, it broke after two weeks and he's had it replaced. So far so good.

Creative's Tech support are **SHIT**

As long as it works, it'll be good. But I had to send back a MuVo, and they sent me a second hand, dirty piece of shit, in the wrong color, wrong capacity, and with some scrubbers fucking music on it. Worse than that, it didn't even fucking work.

Got a second replacement, same fucking story. The customer support people were shit too. Had to send about 5 letters to make them understand the situation because they only understood fucking urdu, or something.

I've since given up on the third player I got, as that fucked up almost instantly too.

Creative are shit.

by default, the Creative sounds better. the ipod's headphone output is a joke - even worse so if you're in Europe. the basic functionality is not as intuitive as the ipod's, but other than that, it's a nice player. you'll be happy with it.

it's troo, too long exposure to too many decibels will damage your cochlea, but the maximum decibel settings for the european iPods are just too soft.

I have been using one for over 4 months now and I love it (wouldnt trade it for an ipod). You will have to get used to the scrollthing, but other then that no problems at all :icon14:

(first time i connected it to my pc it blew up my mobo and PSU, but that was because of my overclock :icon32: )
