I don't understand what they are saying the official reason/excuse for the demolition of building 7 was, and I don't understand what they are saying the real reason for it was.

Nobody died in building 7, it was evacuated.

Building 7 was a government emergency control center according to Guiliani (in his testimony for the 9/11 Commission).

Luckily, FEMA had set up shop in NYC on Sept. 10, so they had a backup control center ready to go when building 7 collapsed unexpectedly.

The only official reason for its collapse is the same reason the towers collapsed - fire weakened the supports to the point that it fell under its own weight. Only, there were no planes and no jet fuel.

They said it fell because of a jet fuel too? I didn't know that I thought they claimed it fell due to damage from the falling towers.

No, they said it fell due to fires weakening the structure. Even though there was no jet fuel involved, and no damage from planes.

There weren't any large pieces of the towers that hit it. It was farther away from the towers than the other WTC buildings that didn't have any damage.

What was the timeframe? I couldn't imagine it taking less than a day to safely plan and execute a pull.

Yeah but why would the goverment say it was due to jet fuel? That part doesn't make much sense to me.
