I'd go with red. It'll hide the blood stains from when you crash in a head on collison with a school bus as you speed your way on some zippy scenic highway and your body snaps into three unrecognizable pieces with one part getting stuck under the school's tire well and your face exploding into a million slimy gooey pieces into the cabin of the bus carrying forty elementary school children five of who will be scared for life as bits of your eyes and nose and scalp land in their faces and they notice for the first time in their life that blood stings when it gets in the eye.
Actually, I don't think the color of the outfits matters too much at that point.
Quality or price-wise? I looked around a good bit, and these things are damn expensive. I'm not dropping a grand on leathers, but I don't want to buy to buy junk.
hehe i was just kidding. check out http://www.newenough.com i got my lightning for $369, and if i remember right the chicane is a little bit less.
and like i said i crash tested mine and it held up great.
PS: i am drunk so if i don't make sense now i will correct that in the morning
PPS: no i don't ride drunk, ever.
edit: yes $349 at newenough, but they don't have the all black one. they used to, but they sold out i guess. at that price, however i would just pick up the black/gunmetal one.
whenever they have just a few sizes left they ebay them, and i've seen chicane suits go for $150 so if you can find the right side you can save money.
Yes, that's my bastardization of danke schon. That Alpinestars suit is nice, but I don't want to spend $600. Not when it's going to be another $150 -$200 for boots.
I think it's great that you're putting safety first and not worrying about what other people think. I wouldn't be caught dead in one of those horrid looking things. Good for you, man. :icon14:

ah, makes sense. btw i don't work for those guys, but i get 90% of my gear there. once you start wearing a 1 piece suit. they are also helpful with sizing, and one time when i needed an exchange they cross shipped at no extra charge. usually when you want good prices you have to put up with bad service, but this is not the case with them.
my friend picked up a pair of Alpinestars SMX 3 boots for $170 locally, if you know your size and want me to check i can see if they have any more there. the lowest net price i've seen for those is $215
