MS exchange question

k, searching google for microsft software answers is pretty needle in a haystack... I was wondering if anyone had a site they could point me to for anwers... or if what i want to do is even possible:

Q: Is it possible to dump emails off of an exchange server into a databse... even into access?

Iffy. Have you considered using exmerge to export the emails to a PST file?

you might want the background scenerio.
at work we do alot of archiving, searching etc of an assload of stuff that comes in on email. (mostly licensing certificates, tracking and such)
now, this is really combersome and anoying to deal with in outlook... twas thinking it would be nice if i could get it to dump all those mails into an access table, then use a simple VB gui to run querys on it.
would be lightning quicker than outlook... and take some stress off the exchange server.

do pst's convert into anything useable?
like a delimeted text file or something?
