I don't see how this is a wonderful decision... They didn't decide anything. They basically said, some courthouses can do it, and some can't. Every issue regarding the Ten Commandments need to go to court and be decided on constitutional grounds.

And did they mention anywhere in their judgement the implications of this, as far as monuments to other religions?

I'm not so sure this ruling did anything except open a can of worms even further.
