Created Servers

When ever I go to create a server none of my friends can get into it even when i dedicate it. I can get into it but the can't.

What are the server settings?

Have you configured your firewall (be it a hardware or software one) properly? By default, Q3A needs incoming and outgoing traffic on UDP port 27960.

Server settings like the settings used to start the server. Be it commandline or ingame settings.

I did give them my IP and it did'nt work!

Are you behind a router? in a network? wha tkind of internet connection do you have?

Yes a wireless router. I don't know what you mean by network. I have Adelphia Cable.

Check http://www.portforward.com/ for instructions on how to configure your router.

ok one more try.

What kinda of router do you have?
When you look up at your wirless router and figure out the model#?
When you figure out what router you have try and find it on the website.
By reading the website if you look at the second paragraph on the HOME page.
The 2nd paragraph starts with "The Routers section
Do you see that Routers is actually a link.
CLICK the word Routers and it takes you to another page with a list of routers they have tutorials on how to change settings on your router.
Again find your router by the name of the manufacturer and model.
Then I do hope you can figure out the rest from there?
