What are the server settings?

Have you configured your firewall (be it a hardware or software one) properly? By default, Q3A needs incoming and outgoing traffic on UDP port 27960.

What do you mean by that?
There is a topic for this.
I suspect that you are c0eforty5 but prove me wrong and keep it here where everyone can help you.

Server settings like the settings used to start the server. Be it commandline or ingame settings.

Your AOL is the same as c0eforty5's.

I refer to http://quake3world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6681

Unless you give the settings you use to start the server next post I will no longer even try to help you.

so long as they have your server ip and you setup the server right they simply can join by typing

/connect YOUR.SERVERS.IP.address

is joining another Server such a bad thing?

Yes a wireless router. I don't know what you mean by network. I have Adelphia Cable.

We could log into your router for you and fix the problem if you need us to, how does that sound?

ok one more try.
  • What kinda of router do you have?
When you look up at your wirless router and figure out the model#?
  • When you figure out what router you have try and find it on the website.
  • By reading the website if you look at the second paragraph on the HOME page.
  • The 2nd paragraph starts with "The Routers section
  • Do you see that Routers is actually a link.
  • CLICK the word Routers and it takes you to another page with a list of routers they have tutorials on how to change settings on your router.
  • Again find your router by the name of the manufacturer and model.
  • Then I do hope you can figure out the rest from there?
One more thing.

One Private message from you and I won't bother replying to you anymore.

You need to reply in this thread to help yourself among other that might have the same question.
