Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal

Post by tnf »

I haven't played a game in this series yet. Now I'm wishing I had. This game is fanfuckingtastic.

Glad I dusted off the old PS2. Wish the Xbox had more titles like this - a great blend of action/adventure/platforming with good characters and decent voice acting.

OH LORD HOW WILL I BALANCE MY TIME BETWEEN PC GAMING, XBOX GAMING, PSP GAMING, GOLF, WORKING OUT, READING GOOD BOOKS, MY WIFE, MY R/C TRUCK AND CARS, AND FINISHING THE CHEMISTRY GUIDE I AM WRITING????

Curse technology and the distractions it has put upon us...

I rarely, if ever, game for more than 1 hour at a time...but I like to try out lots of games with the hopes one might really drag me in. I haven't used my gaming PC since I stopped playing Guild Wars about 3 weeks ago...good game too.
The PSP is taking up most of my time right now...specifically the harder levels of the game Mercury, which can be extraordinarily frustrating.
I keep my skills honed, though, because I give my students a lot of crap about being able to beat them in almost every game they can think of (except fighting games, which I suck at, and therefore hate...)

UYA is a good game. I bought the second game in the series before having played the first, so I bought it for $20 and played through it before getting into the 2nd. Glad I did, all 3 of the stories are great.

BTW, the 2nd game is the best of the 3. Go get it if you don't already.

It moves pretty smooth too, no FPS issues that I've run across so far.

Some funny cut-scenes. Good stuff.

I'd like to see more challenge in the next game though. They seem to be getting easier and easier. I especially want to see harder Clank levels.

tnf, if you haven't played 'Psychonauts' on the XBox yet you should definitely grab it. Funniest and most original platformer I've played in many a year. Worth the price just for the 'The Milkman Conspiracy' level.

UYA is my favorite game on the PS2.
