LCD

Post by corpse »

I have an OAC lcd monitor and my refresh rate is at 60. If I up it to 75 things become blurred. Is this normal?

I have the box checked that says "hide rates that can harm the monitor".

I have a 9800pro video card windows XP pro sp2

It is normal. My CRT monitors are the same way. I keep my monitor at 70 or 72, but I honestly don't see the point of having the highest possilbe refresh rate

I've heard that it's normal. Mine however doesn't do that. It's a Microtek c893 18.1". I keep it on 60 but it's not blurry on 70 or 75.

The higher the refresh rate the clearer the picture, I thought. And less flicker.
