Looking to buy a car

Post by schlockey »

Alright, i was browsing the local paper for cars, i am a fan of Toyotas and even more, their Celicas and Supras, and i saw a Supra for sale. The specifications are as follows:

1986
twin turbo
straight six 3.0 liter
5 speed manual
leather interior
no rust, never seen winter

$2500 obo.

Any opinions on this car?, I know its old, 21 years old, however I still think its worth the $2200 i plan on offering for it.

the 4AG-GTE ( engine ) is a fuckign GREAT engine.. BUT I WILL WORN YOU.. after an Extended time perioud of Boost, they Do start to deterrate..

i would be VERY carefull with that car... the older 80's Supra's would start burning oil then eventually coolent though the heads ( simple fix, but a pain in the ass )

this is Just a warning, im not Saying DONT go for it, and im also Not saying GO FOR IT eather.

*Edit* the Turbo/Twin Turbo Supra's where known for this, not the Naturally Asperated ones. i thaught i would add this in.

Agreed..
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

Was it completely sitting or was it run or started periodically? Sounds like a good deal
