Short and sweet: If I create a new .exe file, windows will tell me it's in use. All I'm doing is right click/new/new txt doc. Renaming it to test.exe and then I try to delete it...nope, denied.
What causes this?

Yup, sure did. Wasn't there, I ended up finding a program like Tomentius mentioned, and after I removed all the files I was having problems with I can remove them without a problem...weird.scourge34 wrote:I tried and couldn't duplicate it. Did you check for a 'test.exe' in your running processes? If there is, you might be able to end the process and delete it.
:icon32: Well, I'm not sure what happened...but I don't have that problem anymore?ilumos wrote:Hm, fuck. I just tried to recreate your problem and it did exactly the same thing. Thanks a bunch
I'll try and work out how to delete the bastad tomorrow. Time for sleep now.

i'm still trying to figure out what causes this With windows XP And the Later windows 2000's ( Ie. updates )
ii have a feeling it has somthing to do with file protection of some sort, some times this happeneds to me with torrents that havent Started downloading yet ( They are showing 0bits ) yet windows will NOT allow me to download them.
some times Even Going through Safemode + command prompt wont get em...
Anyway, Glad to hear you are Set Bork[e]
