(CNN) -- Singer Marc Cohn, known for the 1991 smash hit "Walking in Memphis," was shot in the head Sunday during an attempted carjacking in Denver but survived, his manager said Monday.
Oh my. That's some seriously bum luck.

Then you should know that you don't need a car to get jacked in Memphis. You don't even need to be wearing clean clothes.

I lived in Memphis and worked around the corner from Graceland. Let me tell you this, Memphis is a hardcore ghetto.

Yea I've heard that. Thankfully I've never had to go to that part of Texas. I've got family in Austin though, that's a cool town.
