Some time next month we will be holding a Q3 tournament at college. Only CTF and Tourney(1 on 1) will be available. The problem is that the maps that have been bundled with the game have been mastered by most of the gamers and so I am planning to put in new maps this time.
The CTF will be a 4-players per side affair and the tourney a free for all in the prelims, boiling down to a 1 on 1 by the time the contestants get to the quarter-finals. Keeping this in mind which maps would you suggest for trial / implementation ? A brief description too would be welcome since I am on dial-up from my dorm room. Map packs would be too big to download so suggestions should be individual maps preferably with links.
I was checking out the map selection at <a href = "http://lvlworld.com"> lvlworld</a> but was swamped by the sheer number of maps posted there.

The remix author is a big cunt but you gotta hand it to axbaby and foo for the original. It's a wide open map specifically made for quake towers and large numbers of players like ffa. It has some vertical play.

for 1v1 try maps like ztn3tourney1 and hub3aeroq3. ztn is generally slower and the key is item control and strategy... very popular in europe/russia. hub is full cess madness. both have been used at many successful tourneys and people playing out of the box won't be familiar with them.
for ctf try the threewave maps... unless you're serious about being on dialup. the pack is pretty huge.
