Quake 3 engine...best ever made?

I think it is

Best looking in terms of how advanced it was, how it can
still match games coming out today, how used it was and
easy it was to modify...

I'd say the Quake 3 tech is the best ever made!
Where were you when the West was defeated?

best tech for it's time .. wolf3d ,Doom had the best tech for it's time.

I dunno dude...Quake 3 engine is 6 years old now
How many games were being made with the Doom engine 6 years on?

doom engine i assume wasn't farmed out for $250,000 like it is now ..had it been you know we would have seen a lot more of that engine.
