Crimsonland - one of the best kept secrets on the web

Post by [xeno]Julios »

Probably the most entertaining single player game I've ever played.

http://crimsonland.reflexive.com/crimsonland/

not free, but that shouldn't stop you :)

finish the quests first, in both regular and hardcore - this will unlock all the weapons and bonus items, which will allow you to do well in the main gametype: Survival.

My best score so far is in the 12 million range.

Some screenies :)

aye, when it was still a free game it rocked. then with the 'retail' version they changed the music and some other things that made it too bland for meh

Ah, I remember that game. Good times, but it got boring pretty quick. I'll have to give it another go some time. :D

i used to enjoy the survivor mode, but not enough to pay for or even warez it.

jules, have you played soldat? it's a side scrolling real time game, it's got multiplayer capabilities too:

I find Alien Shooter to be more fun, and graphically more pleasing.
Granted, it's quite short, but the action's a lot more varied than Crimsonland, and it's got Survivor mode too.
