Re: USA USA USA
We must keep all options on the table when it comes to dealings with the moon.

you better fuckin not. we put our flag there, it's our moon now. fuck u, leave our moon alone
Re: USA USA USA
I cringe every time the most popular Dutch news site (nu.nl) spews out more bullshit and cites daily mail as their source. Coming up with your own bullshit is one thing, but copying bullshit of others and presenting it as truth is a whole new level of stupidity.
Re: USA USA USA
You should consider not reading nu.nl then. They're not press in the classical sense, they're just a bunch of guys that copy/paste stories from press agencies all day. Relying on it for actual news is bad, mmkay?
Don't understand why it ticks you off to realize that the most popular site with articles that make up an average of 300 words so it's easily readable on your smartphone isn't exactly known for it's mind blowing journalism, this has been their formula since day one.

Re: USA USA USA
I guess what ticks me off mostly is how people hold nu.nl in high regard while the evidence of their shittyness is staggering. Same with De Telegraaf, most popular newspaper in the country, but also the shittiest. It barely rises above tabloit level most of the time.Ryoki wrote:You should consider not reading nu.nl then. Re: USA USA USA
Isn't that true for most newspapers though? What sells is sensationalist bullshit, not thoughtful, well-researched, fact-based and referenced articles.
It's the same over here. I go through phases where I completely boycott the news in all forms but it becomes difficult to keep up with daily issues and you begin to feel left out in conversation. Not that that's a bad thing. Most people are below the fucking newspapers anyway. I just try to remember that the news is just a story. At best, fabricated horse shit with truth sprinkled in only enough to keep it from falling on its ass outright.

news would be easier to digest if less things happened in the world
