Yes. I like his special commentaries, but I think he did get a bit dramatic on that one. I think if he wouldn't have changed the tone of his voice it would have helped.

I was just about to post this. I haven't seen it, just read the transcript.
Our policy in Iraq has been criticized for being indescribable, for being inscrutable, for being ineffable.
But it is all too easily understood now.
First, we sent Americans to their deaths for your lie, Mr. Bush.
Now we are sending them to their deaths for your ego.
I think the guy deserves some kind of award - hell, maybe a medal.

our british obsession with avoiding partisanship in broadcasting means we don't really have an olbermann equivalent here

You know, I hear Jerry Falwell can heal that for you.
But only because you're a true believer.

I don't think make up people have adapted to HD yet. People don't look that made up on SD, but when you see them in HD it becomes quite apparent.

Olbermann does a nice little recap of Bush and his credibility:
Boot to the head
Olbermann: President Bush makes no secret of his distaste for looking backward, for assessing past results.
But in our third story on the Countdown tonight… too bad.
Any meaningful assessment of the president's next step in Iraq must consider his steps and missteps so far.
So, let's look at the record:
...then he destroys him on-air.
Also note this was recorded BEFORE Bush's speech.
