The future of gaming? Not a single console manufacturer decided against a PowerPC CPU core based on G5 architecture and a ATI GPU. The same components used to build all the new iMacs and PowerMacs.

XBox 360:
3 x IBM PowerPC-based CPU @ 3.2GHz
ATI Graphics Processor @ 500Mhz
PlayStation 3:
Cell Processor - PowerPC-base Core @3.2GHz
NVIDIA Graphics Processor @ 550MHz
Nintendo Revolution:
IBM chip called Broadway
ATI graphics called Hollywood
My bad, PS3 uses nVidia.
